Mindfullness Meditation

This grant for fifth grade teachers Abby Brewer and Kim Rader pilots a school-based yoga program to help students learn strategies to self-regulate at school and their daily lives. During 15-school day sessions, students will practice yoga poses and meditation strategies that work to calm anxiety and help with focus and attention. Teachers will use pre and post assessments and student self-reflections to evaluate the program’s effectiveness.
