This collaboration between technology teacher Jim Vennemeyer and art teacher Amy Pierce will serve as the foundation to launch new computer science concepts and design and digital art. All Fifth Grade students will use iPads to write code in “Swift”—the programming language that is used to create apps for iOS devices. Art students will use the Apple Pencil to create digital and together both disciplines will have a STEAM makerspace project.
