MHS Girls Volleyball ‘Player for a Day’
Posted on 10/6/2023
MECC 2nd grader, Lyddie Galvin, experienced a night that she will never forget. Her parents, Natalie and Charles Galvin, bid on a Mason Schools Foundation silent auction item and won MHS Girls Volleyball ‘Player for a Day’ for their daughter.
Head coach, Eric Schatzle, and the Lady Comets welcomed Lyddie to the team. She practiced and warmed up with the girls, was announced prior to the game, and sat on the bench cheering them on against Badin. Being youth night, there was a big crowd in attendance. Watch the video below and hear them give Lyddie a warm Comet welcome. We bet many of those young volleyball players are hoping to be the next VIP of the game.
Find this Volleyball VIP experience along with MANY others showcased in our upcoming Silent Auction at Mason Schools Foundation’s 15th annual gala on Saturday, October 21st. Click the link below to purchase tickets to attend the celebration. Today is the last day to buy! If you can’t make it, you can participate in the silent auction and bid on a variety of items from the comforts of your home.https://e.givesmart.com/events/xLK/
Thank you to Coach Schatzle and the volleyball boosters for donating this ultimate experience to our silent auction. And, thank you to Natalie and Charles Galvin for your continued support of Mason Schools Foundation! We have a feeling that we may be seeing Lyddie out on the court playing volleyball when she gets to high school!
